The "Outline" clearly lists "strengthening the strategic support capacity of technological innovation" as a key task for the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan development, and "intelligent manufacturing in the dyeing and finishing industry" is among the key industry technologies that urgently need to be broken through.
Dyeing and finishing, as a unique and highly-focused link in the textile industry chain, has always focused on "green" and "intelligent" development. At the recently concluded ITMA ASIA + CITME 2020, many new products in the dyeing and finishing industry were released, attracting widespread attention from both inside and outside the industry. Among them, Changzhou Hongda Technology (Group), known as the "intelligent expert in dyeing and finishing", released several new intelligent product series, which received affirmation from a group of leaders including Secretary Gao Yong of the China National Textile and Apparel Council, becoming the most eye-catching "star enterprise" at this textile machinery exhibition.

Recalling the first day of the textile machinery exhibition, amidst the dazzling exhibits and overwhelming topics, our new media editorial team embarked on the "battle" of first-line interviews. Changzhou Hongda specializes in the research and development of online digital control products for textile dyeing and finishing. The Hawk Vision flexible intelligent warping machine launched by Changzhou Hongda Technology this time is developed by the "Hawk Vision" brand, relying on its strong European technical background and Changzhou Hongda's profound technical research and development capabilities. The developed "full-width scanning warp and weft technology" has made original innovations in the warping mechanism, fundamentally changing the existing warping methods of warping machines, solving the industry problems of S-bend, W-bend, hanging feet, and wavy texture warping of textiles. Gu Ren told reporters: "At present, most finishing machines in dyeing plants only play the role of creating an environment, but they do not monitor the state of the fabric during the finishing process or the finishing effect. This means that for some special fibers and functional finishing, or fabrics with high requirements, finishing often relies on the experience of operators, which is highly subjective. Due to the inability to achieve standard quantitative evaluation, the final effect is uncertain, so some enterprises may need to finish twice, reducing production efficiency." Changzhou Hongda's "INSHK shaping intelligent system" fundamentally solves this problem. Based on the industrial internet, big data, and artificial intelligence technology, it can make independent decisions on the finishing process and form process formulas, thereby improving the efficiency of dyeing plants.

This system comprehensively collects data on textile types, target quality, processing technology, and stenter operating status. A complete finishing process database has been developed and designed for intelligent execution and comprehensive monitoring of the finishing process. The HV-PC high-precision density online measurement and control system adopts internationally leading digital image processing, pattern recognition, and information fusion technologies. Using an industrial camera as the detection component, it comprehensively and real-time detects the weft density of fabrics in motion and adjusts the weft density in real-time based on the weft density detection results to achieve the ideal state, ensuring high-quality textiles. This system overcomes the shortcomings of photoelectric detection methods and ordinary image detection methods, greatly improving product quality and reducing quality complaints; reducing worker workload and lowering the requirements for the skills and experience of operators to avoid errors; strictly controlling vehicle speed to reduce energy consumption and production costs; and greatly improving product competitiveness and corporate brand image. This product technology has been granted a national invention patent.

The HV-GM200 intelligent fabric weight online detection instrument achieves direct online weight detection, real-time continuous online recording and storage of fabric weight, and real-time detection of the width of the falling fabric. It is networked with the density detection overfeeding system to directly build a closed-loop target weight control. The system greatly improves the consistency of fabric weight, significantly reduces the number of times manual sampling and weighing are performed, reduces fabric waste caused by sampling, and reduces worker workload; it also reduces the large-area color difference at the holes during printing caused by holes formed by weighing during pre-setting.
