Recently, the State Intellectual Property Office of China announced the winners of the 22nd China Patent Award. The patent "Automatic Fabric Warp Straightening Method Based on Machine Vision," applied for by Gu Ren (also known as Gu Jinhua), Chairman of Changzhou Hongda Technology (Group), won the "China Patent Excellent Award."

　　The China Patent Award is jointly sponsored by the State Intellectual Property Office of China and the World Intellectual Property Organization. It is the only government award in China specifically for inventions and creations granted patents. It is recognized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) of the United Nations and aims to commend patentees and inventors (designers) who have made outstanding contributions to promoting innovation and driving economic and social development. Awards include the China Patent Gold Award, China Patent Silver Award, China Patent Excellent Award; China Appearance Design Gold Award, China Appearance Design Silver Award, and China Appearance Design Excellent Award.

Among them, he won the Hong Kong Sangma Textile Technology First Prize in 2005, the China National Textile and Apparel Council Science and Technology Award First Prize in 2017, and the China National Textile and Apparel Council Patent Gold Award in 2019.

　　At the 2020 Textile Machinery Joint Exhibition held in June this year, Changzhou Hongda launched its latest Hawk Vision flexible intelligent warp straightening machine. This machine features original innovation in warp straightening mechanism, fundamentally changing the existing warp straightening method and solving the industry problem of straightening S-bends, W-bends, dropped stitches, and wavy textures in textiles. It is particularly suitable for correcting warp bends and arcs in knitted and woven textiles with low tension, large warp angles, and irregular warp angles, ushering in a new chapter in the history of warp straightening machine development and providing strong support for the high-quality development of China's textile industry.
