　　The theme of this meeting was "Fusion and Innovation to Promote Sustainable Development." Shen Chunrong, Deputy District Head of Wujiang District People's Government, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Wujiang High-tech Zone, and Secretary of the Party Committee of Shengze Town, delivered a speech at the meeting. In his speech, he introduced that Wujiang High-tech Zone is located in the core hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta integrated development demonstration zone and is a world-renowned ancient silk town, textile city, and fashion capital.

　　From overtaking and surpassing in the modern textile industry to building a world-class high-end textile industry cluster, Shengze has formed a complete textile industry chain from "a drop of oil to a piece of cloth" and "a cocoon to a silk thread to a brand." It has cultivated more than 2,500 industrial enterprises and more than 7,000 commercial enterprises, achieving a good situation where the scale of industry, market, and enterprises all reach hundreds of billions of yuan. It boasts two Fortune 500 companies, Hengli and Shenghong, and has built Jiangsu Province's first national-level advanced functional fiber innovation center. The Shengze silk and chemical fiber index has become an industry "weather vane." The cluster produces more than 23 billion meters of textile and garment fabrics and 5 million tons of chemical fibers annually. The transaction volume of the China Oriental Silk Market has exceeded 100 billion yuan for eight consecutive years, making it China's most important research and development and production base for silk and chemical fiber fabrics. 　　Li Lingshen, Vice President of China Textile Industry Federation, was invited to give a keynote report on "Technological Innovation to Promote High-Quality Development of China's Textile Industry." Li Lingshen introduced the technological innovation and high-quality development of China's textile industry from four aspects: the operation of the textile industry in 2020, industrial textiles becoming a new driving force for industry development, the challenges facing China's technological development, and accumulating strength for the construction of a powerful textile country. He stated that according to the overall goal of a powerful textile technology country, high-end, high-tech, diversified, and ecological development are the trends of technological innovation. In the future, an industrial revolution based on fiber materials will change people's understanding of textiles. At the same time, the digital economy is profoundly changing the way people produce and live, and new ways of thinking and business models will emerge. Textile enterprises need to keep up with the technological trends of the times, actively integrate into the development trend, and firmly grasp the opportunities of technological revolution.

　　

 

　　Lin Yunfeng, President of the China Knitting Industry Association, gave a report on the operation of the knitting industry in the first quarter of 2021 and the current work of the association, themed "Building a Foundation, Seeking Paths, Forging Souls, and Cultivating New Talents." The report pointed out that from January to March 2021, 5,753 large-scale enterprises in the knitting industry achieved a total operating revenue of 131.231 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 27.26%, slightly higher than the textile industry. Among them, 2,099 large-scale enterprises in knitted fabrics achieved an operating revenue of 48.136 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 32.74%; 3,654 large-scale enterprises in knitted garments achieved an operating revenue of 83.095 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 24.29%, indicating that the knitting industry, which has overcome difficulties, has seen an overall warming, with a significant increase in operating revenue and a stable recovery in the consumer market. However, it should also be noted that the consumer market is still in the process of recovery, and the foundation for recovery still needs to be further consolidated.

　　

 

　　Guan Ruifeng, Vice President of Zhijing Technology, gave a speech on the theme of "Bridging the Digital Divide: From Production Digitalization to Operation Digitalization." Currently, weaving enterprises face challenges such as low production efficiency, dispersed supply chains, high management costs, and high operating costs. Based on this background, Zhijing uses textile industrial internet platforms and finished fabric circulation platforms to continuously promote the upgrading of the textile industry chain, creating a platform that achieves digitalization from production to operation, helping enterprises improve production efficiency, solve funding problems, and obtain order demands.

　　

 

　　Guo Shaoxin, Deputy Manager of the Process Application Center of Lixin Dyeing and Finishing Machinery (Guangdong) Co., Ltd., gave a speech introducing the innovative three-in-one fabric dyeing machine AHYBRID. According to him, this model dyeing machine combines the advantages of air-flow and overflow machines. The air-flow mode is used in the crease-solving stage, and the water-flow mode is used to improve dyeing uniformity and washing efficiency. This allows for maximum energy saving, emission reduction, and cost reduction while ensuring fabric quality, greatly reducing the customer's overall production costs.

　　

 

　　Gu Ren, Chairman of Changzhou Hongda Technology (Group), gave a speech on the theme of "Intelligent Shaping Process System Based on New Generation Artificial Intelligence Technology." He pointed out that the breakthrough and application of new generation artificial intelligence have further improved the digital, networked, and intelligent level of manufacturing, fundamentally improving the efficiency of industrial knowledge generation and utilization, greatly liberating human physical and mental strength, greatly accelerating the speed of innovation, and thus promoting the development of manufacturing into a new stage—new generation intelligent manufacturing. For the printing and dyeing industry, deep learning of printing and dyeing processes based on industrial internet big data and the realization of artificial intelligence in printing and dyeing processes are one of the important future development directions. He then introduced the company's intelligent shaping system and the advantages, characteristics, and application cases of different models.

　　

 

　　To further enhance the role of entrepreneurs, scholars, and engineers in industry development, enterprise management, trend research, and technological innovation, an appointment ceremony for the Expert Technology Committee of the China Knitting Industry Association was held at this council meeting. 84 comrades, including Qu Jing, Yang Qidong, Lin Guangxing, Chen Nanliang, Jiang Gaoming, Zhou Xiaoting, and Zhang Qing, were appointed as members of the 7th Expert Technology Committee of the China Knitting Industry Association. 　　The conference also announced the outstanding papers of the 11th National Knitwear Science and Technology Conference. 25 papers, including "Research on Intelligent Design of Patterns and Digital Printing Technology of Mulberry Silk Cotton Plain Weave", were awarded outstanding papers at this science and technology conference.

　　

 

　　To expand the promotion and application of advanced technologies and equipment in the knitwear industry and better promote technical exchanges and progress in the industry, the China Knitwear Industry Association compiled the "Recommended Catalog of Advanced Technologies and Equipment in China's Knitwear Industry". 15 advanced technologies and equipment projects, including "Digital Whole-Garment Warp Knitting Equipment and Intelligent Production Management System", were selected for the 2021 "Recommended Catalog of Advanced Technologies and Equipment in China's Knitwear Industry".
