From December 19th to 20th, the "2019 National Knitwear Technology Exchange Conference" was grandly held in Wuxi, Jiangsu. The theme of this conference was "Intelligent, Ecological, and Integrated." The conference conducted an in-depth analysis of the current state of the knitwear industry, assessed industry development trends, and, in conjunction with the global background of the rapid development of technologies such as the internet, big data, and artificial intelligence, explored "key technologies and applications of intelligent and ecological knitwear manufacturing" from a comprehensive perspective, including new raw material preparation, intelligent production and weaving, and green dyeing and finishing.

The conference was hosted by the Knitwear Professional Committee of the China Textile Engineering Society, the Knitwear Professional Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Textile Engineering Society, and the Wuxi Municipal Association for Science and Technology. It was undertaken by the Knitwear Technology Ministry of Education Engineering Research Center of Jiangnan University and the Wuxi Municipal Textile Engineering Society. Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, experts from Jiangnan University, the China Textile Engineering Society, the China Knitwear Industry Association, and other universities, research institutions, and associations, along with representatives from well-known domestic and foreign knitwear equipment manufacturing enterprises, raw material production enterprises, manufacturing enterprises, dyeing and finishing enterprises, and knitwear clothing enterprises, gathered together, with over 400 people discussing industry development.

Changzhou Hongda Technology Group was invited to participate in this conference. The Hawk Vision intelligent image weft straightening machine based on artificial intelligence technology has also received much praise. The system technology has been identified by the expert group of the China Textile Industry Federation as internationally leading and won the first prize of the 2017 China Textile Industry Federation Science and Technology Progress Award! Recently, this patented technology also won the China Textile Industry Patent Gold Award! This technology has completely solved the problems of fabric pattern deformation, weft skew, and weft bending that cannot be corrected and identified by photoelectric weft straightening, surpassing the value of photoelectric weft straightening and ordinary image weft straightening. It can straighten the patterns of printed fabrics, color-woven fabrics, jacquard fabrics, etc., and is suitable for heavy fabrics, twill fabrics, brushed fabrics, knitted fabrics, and denim. It is applicable to weft straightening in digital printing sizing processes and heat transfer printing processes; fundamentally improving the quality level of textile finishing.
