Trade deals: An indispensable highlight

Although many companies emphasized that their main purpose of participating in the exhibition was to conduct technical exchanges and communicate face-to-face with customers, with the influx of high-quality, purposeful customers, the exhibition also triggered waves of signing orders.

For example, at ITMA 2019 , Lida Group signed a series of sales contracts with Cotton & Textile Industries Holding Company from Cairo, Egypt, involving a total of 7 projects, with a total estimated value of 1.8 billion Swiss francs. The delivery of the compact spinning and ring spinning systems involved in this contract is expected to be completed in the next 2 years. This order is part of the modernization project of Egypt's local textile industry. The entire project's orders are expected to be completed in 2019 years, and sales will be included in 2020 and 2021 .

Dr. Ahmed Moustafa Mohamed, chairman of Cotton & Textile Industries Holding Company, and Dr. Norbert Klapper, CEO of Lida Group, completed the signing of this contract at the ITMA exhibition in Barcelona, Spain.

China Textile Machinery's intended orders for cotton spinning equipment exceeded 5000 million US dollars (excluding Zheng Textile Machinery, Outefa, and Lixin).

Gu Ren, chairman of Changzhou Hongda, said when talking about the achievements of this exhibition that this exhibition brought together companies from all over the world, and it was a high-level exhibition in itself. Many of the products exhibited possess advanced technologies, and the participating companies exhibited physical products. Because our whole-flower and whole-weft machine technology is still world-leading, it received detailed understanding and praise from audiences from Spain, Germany, the United States, Italy, Argentina, Turkey, Pakistan, and India at the exhibition. This year's exhibition also made progress in intelligent manufacturing in printing and dyeing, with fabric color detection becoming one of the highlights. Many online detection products and technologies have laid a good foundation for the realization of intelligent manufacturing in printing and dyeing. Gu Ren introduced that the exhibition had more than ten intended signings, and the exhibition also obtained information on product demand from foreign customers, Hawkvision The physical exhibits and related technologies received full recognition and high praise from professional company engineering and technical personnel.

Technological innovation and sustainability remain the theme

Technological innovation is both the foundation of industrial transformation and the key to the success of the textile and apparel industry. At the opening ceremony on the first day of the exhibition, Fritz P. Mayer, chairman of the European Textile Machinery Manufacturers Association ( CEMATEX ), said: "Although the global economy is still facing major challenges and various uncertainties, the textile industry, as one of the world's oldest manufacturing industries, continues to relentlessly launch innovative and sustainable solutions, ITMA as an excellent display and trading platform, will provide win-win opportunities for practitioners in all aspects of the industry chain." With the fourth industrial revolution ushering in a new era of intelligent and flexible manufacturing, innovation is crucial for textile and apparel manufacturers to maintain global competitiveness and sustainability. As the world's largest and only comprehensive textile and apparel manufacturing technology exhibition, covering the entire production chain,

随着第四次工业革命带来智能和灵活制造的新时代,创新对于纺织品和服装制造商保持全球竞争力和可持续性至关重要。 With the fourth industrial revolution ushering in a new era of intelligent and flexible manufacturing, innovation is crucial for textile and apparel manufacturers to maintain global competitiveness and sustainability. 作为全球规模较大且唯一的综合纺织品和服装制造技术展示,涵盖了整个生产链, With the fourth industrial revolution ushering in a new era of intelligent and flexible manufacturing, innovation is crucial for textile and apparel manufacturers to maintain global competitiveness and sustainability. It plays a key role in facilitating knowledge transfer, promoting interdisciplinary and cross-industry collaboration, and celebrating R&D achievements.

ITMA 2019 One of the highlights is promoting knowledge exchange and excellent sustainable development. In the face of fierce global competition, sustainable manufacturing is crucial to the success of enterprises. The global textile and apparel industry, built on complex linear supply chains, is plagued by factors such as high labor and environmental costs. For example, high resource consumption, long processing times, and large amounts of waste. By adopting cleaner production methods, manufacturers and brands can enjoy a "triple bottom line" of profit, people, and the planet, while contributing to a circular economy. To better address this issue, ITMA 2019 provides an integrated platform for environmentally friendly solutions for the entire textile and apparel manufacturing value chain, with dedicated exhibition areas for recycling, waste reduction, and pollution prevention. For example, With the fourth industrial revolution ushering in a new era of intelligent and flexible manufacturing, innovation is crucial for textile and apparel manufacturers to maintain global competitiveness and sustainability. The innovation laboratory aims to drive innovation excellence through R&D and promote the sustainable development of the textile and apparel manufacturing industry.
