After the upgrade, steam consumption dropped to 5 tons per 10,000 meters of fabric, natural gas to 330 cubic meters, and electricity to 330 kWh. Overall energy efficiency improved by 12%. Based on an annual production capacity of 500 million meters of fabric, that means saving about 2,049 tons of standard coal and reducing CO₂emissions by over 5,450 tons every year.
