China's top smart dyeing factories are here! Yingfeng Technology + Hongda Intelligence: Setting a new benchmark for industry with hardcore tech.

As the first "Future Factory" pilot project in Zhejiang's dyeing industry, this over 1 billion RMB facility will add 129 million meters of high-end dyed fabric every year once operational. It focuses on high-value products like premium outdoor and fashion brands.

Yingfeng's commitment to smart manufacturing isn't just about hardware  it's a full strategic shift. In April 2026, they launched an action plan to improve quality, efficiency, and investor returns. The plan includes building a major R&D center and an intelligent recognition and analysis system for dyeing and finishing. The goal: move fast from a traditional dyeing processor to a flexible, smart, and innovative service provider.

Fu Shuangli, Chairman of Yingfeng Technology, says they've already rolled out AI in five key areas  and three of them are already showing real efficiency gains.

At the same time, the company is raising up to 522 million yuan through a private placement to fund the R&D center and the smart analysis system, ensuring strong financial support for this digital transformation.

 

 

The core technology gives production lines a 'smart brain' and 'sharp eyes'

Pain point: Saying goodbye to the old days of "feeling by hand, checking by eye."

In dyeing production, pattern distortion and weft shifting have long been stubborn problems. The old way of relying on human eyes is not only slow, but also useless when dealing with high-thread-count, high-density fabrics or complex patterns. Even a tiny pH change in the dye can affect color absorption and cause uneven dyeing between batches. Weight deviation directly impacts fabric texture and whether it meets customer standards.

As the industry speeds up moving away from the experience-driven approach of "touching and looking," Yingfeng's solution is to bring in Hongda Intelligence's full set of online inspection and intelligent control equipment.

Saving energy and reducing carbon: 33 stenter frames save over 2,000 tons of standard coal per year.

The data tells the story best. Hongda Intelligence's digital control technology for fabric stenter frames has been fully deployed at Yingfeng Technology  with 33 frames now using this system. After the upgrade, steam consumption dropped to 5 tons per 10,000 meters of fabric, natural gas to 330 cubic meters, and electricity to 330 kWh. Overall energy efficiency improved by 12%. Based on an annual production capacity of 500 million meters of fabric, that means saving about 2,049 tons of standard coal and reducing COemissions by over 5,450 tons every year. This technology has already been listed in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's recommended catalog for energy-saving and carbon-reducing tech equipment, making it a benchmark in the textile dyeing and printing industry.

Industry recognition: Hongda Intelligence was Named one of China's Top 10 Scientific and Technological Advances in Smart Manufacturing.

At the end of 2025, Hongda Intelligence's "Key Technology and Industrialization of Digital Smart Systems for Dyeing and Stenter Frames" project was selected as one of the "2025 Top 10 Scientific and Technological Advances in Smart Manufacturing" in China. That same year, Hongda Intelligence also won the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's 2025 Outstanding Digital Transformation Case award and was recognized as a national "Little Giant" company .
